Mason Benjamin Epperly
My name is Mason and, with grandpa’s help, I wish to take you to the Tri-Cities Gathering of Scots which was held along the banks of the Columbia River in Kennewick, Washington on May 9th and 10th, 2003. But first, I should give you a little background of yours truly. I was born on March 24th, 2003 to Stacy and Jim Epperly and currently reside with them in Kennewick, Washington. My grandparents are Pat and Bill Trimble of West Richland, Washington and Larry and Sandy Epperly of Mesa, Arizona.
Columbia Park in Kennewick, Washington was filled with a sea of plaid on Saturday, May 10th, 2003 and Mid-Columbian enjoyed all things Scottish during the second annual Scotland Highland Gathering.

Grandpa Bill and Uncle Kim
We had a good crowd Friday night during the Ceilidh when guests were treated to a variety of Celtic music dancing and good food.

Highland Dancing
On Saturday, 15 clans showed off their coats of arms, family histories and tartan kilts. Prior to the opening ceremonies, where each clan marched behind the Desert Thistle Pipe Band, dancers performing traditional Scottish dances entertained the crowd.
