Those names that have been nominated are as follows: President Wally Turnbull Durham, NC Vice President Brian Turnbull Lachute, QC, Canada Secretary & Janet T. Schwierking
Poteet, TX Treasurer John G, Turnbull Elmhurst, NY If any member wishes to run for one of these offices, or wishes to nominate a member in good standing for anyone of these offices, then please submit the nomination to Janet T. Schwierking no later than August 30, 2003. It is on this date that the nomination process will be closed. If there are any additional names, their name will be posted on the Website, however a written notification to all members may not be practical, but will certainly be attempted. The actual election will be held on September 15, 2003 at which time anyone may send in a write in candidate to Janet T. Schwierking, however it will deprive that individual the notification to the Membership that he/she would have received if the nomination had been received on time. The results of the Election will be posted on the Website immediately, and notification of the election process will be promulgated in the next issue of the Bullseye. Most of you know three of the four candidates. Janet has been the acting Secretary since the resignation of James, and I the acting treasurer from the same event. Janet has maintain her duties as Membership Secretary, Editor of the Bullseye and Clan Prints in the Sands. I have maintain the position as President. In both cases our records speak for itself. Those of you who have visited our website have seen the results of Brian’s efforts. Brian will remain as the Webmaster, however I am sure that his contributions to TCA can be of a greater benefit to TCA in the next three years. Wally is from the line of Turnbulls from the Haiti missionary family, and his son Andy was the webmaster at one time. He has long experience in dealing with voluntary organization personnel, and on an international basis, will enable him to strengthen the ties that have just been reestablished with Scotland, Naturally this is very important for our long term growth and development, both nationally and internationally.
Your aye,
John G. Turnbull President, TCA
