BULLSEYE

Brian Peter Turnbull

Brian was born and educated in Montreal, Quebec Canada. He joined Northern Electric Co. Ltd (now Nortel Networks) and spent his early years in Methods Engineering. His propensity for training production staff lead to his transfer into Human Resources, first in Management Development then through all the specialties in Human Resources. During his career with Northern Telecom he at various times was responsible for the HR function and most other administrative functions in geographically diverse locations around the world. When he retired in 1995 he was AVP Human Resources for Northern Telecom Electronics. His responsibilities required him to travel extensively to facilities throughout North America, Mexico, England, Malaysia and Thailand.

Since his retirement Brian has been Treasurer for the Lake Louisa Corporation, and the Lake Louisa Property Owners Association. Two years ago he decided the LLPOA needed a Web site, so he established his first site with his long time friend Claude. At the time it was the two blind men, but learning has always been fun for them. When the TCA was looking for help with their web site, Brian was quick to volunteer, dragging along his friend behind the scenes.

Brian is married for 37 years to his loving wife Gail. They have three boys and a girl and five grandchildren. Brian’s hobbies include computers, golf and curling as well as managing his lake side property where he spends most of his time.
