[S203] BMD England & Wales , b cert for Jack Edden (John William). Bolehall on the cert is Kettlebrook, this is why I may say b/m/d at Kettlebrook, and sometimes the Registrar decides it is Bolehall. The joys of living in a town split between two counties Staffs and Warwick, and part of the rural district was in Derbyshire. In 1939 Staffs county did us a great dis service by closing or registry offices and moving them to Lichfield. The Warwickshire villages (now in Tamworth) of Amington, Dosthill and Glascote, were registered at Sutton Coldfield.
Thamworth regained its Register office last year, and all our registers have returned to Tamworth.
