Death	She died on 13 March 1875 at age ~41 in Wisemans Ferry, New South Wales, Australia. SMH 13 March 1875 SUDDEN DEATH-An inquest was held on Tuesday last, at the Lower Hawkesbury, before Mr. J. B. Johnston, J.P., Coroner, and a jury, upon the body of a woman named Ann Douglass, wife of Thomas Douglass, farmer. From the evidence it appeared that deceased went to bed, apparently in her usual good health, about 8 o'clock on Sunday evening last. An hour before daylight next morning she awoke and complained of inward pains, but went to sleep again, Soon after, her husband heard her making a strange noise, and tried to awaken her. He thought she had fainted, and lifted her up calling to her mother who was sleeping in the next room to come in. Douglass then got some water to bathe his wife's face, when he discovered she was dead. The deceased was approaching her accouchement; she had occasionally complained of a pain in her right side; a week before her death she told her husband that she had slipped and hurt her back; deceased was forty one years, and the mother of a large family. In the absence of any medical evidence, their jury found a verdict of Death from the visitation of God.³
