| Anecdote | According to the census John Bull was born in 1849, I think his headstone is wrong. At the time of his death a newspaper article claimed he was 108 but according to most of the census records he was 98. The 1850 census shows that John was 0 yrs old, the 1860 shows him to be 11. Somewhere his correct age was mixed up but I have to believe the census that he was born in 1849. |
