However her parents are shown as William Gordon (Farmer) and Elizabeth MaCleod. I have searched the Kildonan births (attached and found no entry for Sept 1815 which according to was the appropriate date) However there is a Elspat (Elspeth) (Elizabeth) born to william and betty mcleod in Jan 1813. Incidentally there are 6 siblings between1802 and1810. William and Betty Macleod were married 2 Jul 1801 in Kildonan. I have a feeling this is the right Elizabeth Gordon She must have been less than truthful or forgetful of her age as she was slightly older than her husband!
