He was a retired Iron Worker for American Bridge Company and a Member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Valley of South Bend, the White Shrine of South Bend and The Rose of Croix and also Portage Senior Citizen Club and was raised as a Baptist. Tommie is survived by his Loving Wife, Dixie (Zumalt) Trumble of Portage; sons, Tommie Lee (Peggy) Trumble of Valparaiso, Charles Henry Trumble of Sussex NJ, Terrill Justin (Susan) Trumble of Middleburg, FL; daughters, Barbara Jean (Earl) Cowsert of Whitewater, WI; Brenda Jayne (Jeffrey) Willey of St. Peters, MO; brothers, Bobbie (JoAnn) Trumble of AR, James Trumble of AR ; sister, Peggy (Dub) Rose of AR; 13 grandchildren, Kristin Ferry, Nathan Trumble, Matthew and Gregory Cowsert, Richard and Russell Krueger, Shannon Busler, Joshua, Nicole, Sam and T.J. Trumble, Leigh Peretta, Christina Williams; 13 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a son, Alonzo Clifford Trumble, a sister, Doris Bruton and a brother Leroy Trumble. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 12 (noon) at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home Portage Chapel, 6941 Central Ave, Portage, IN with Pastor Jeffrey Willey officiating. Friends and Family can visit with the family from 10:00 am until time of service at 12 (noon) at the funeral home. Cremation will be performed by Heritage Crematory, Portage, IN. In Lieu of Flowers,Memorials may be made to the Family. Online condolences to the family may be made at www.ee-fh.com3 |

She was a member of the Boles Freewill Baptist Church and the Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Waldron Chapter. Funeral service was at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at the Boles Freewill Baptist Church with interment in the Chant Cemetery with Eastern Star Rites under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home. She is survived by her husband, Basil Bruton of the home; one son, Ron Bruton of Boles, Arkansas; one sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Dub Rose of Boles, Arkansas; three brothers, T.J. and Dixie Trumble of Portage, Indiana, Bobby and Jo Trumble of Alma, Arkansas, Jim Trumble of Anchorage, Alaska; one sister-in-law, Marvis Trumble of Moore, Oklahoma, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charley and Ruth Trumble, a daughter, Saundra Kay Bruton, and a brother, Leroy Trumble. Pallbearers were Mark Trumble, Russell Trumble, Mike Trumble, Matt Rose, Tony Rose and Stanley Cottrel. Honorary pallbearers were Randy Jones, Donald Hollaway and Buddy Morgan.5 |
