Dennis was the younger brother of the celebrated palaeontologist Ronald Pearson Tripp. Margaret and Dennis lived in Ghana, where Dennis served as a District Commissioner, until about 1958. They lived separate lives in their later years but I don’t know if they divorced. They had two sons (Robert M Tripp in 1958 and Christopher Pearson Tripp in 1960) and a daughter (Diana L Tripp in 1965).
