Mary Lee Turnbull
Mary Lee Turnbull, 77, passed away Thursday, Apr. 23, 1992, in Sagle, Idaho.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Apr. 27, 1992, at Coffelt’s Moon Chapel, Sandpoint, Idaho, with Chuck Wigton, of the First Christian Church, officiating.Friends may call at the Chapel on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 p.m.Interment will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
Mary Lee was born on May 9, 1914, in Heartwell, Neb. The daughter of Levi and Louisa Converse.She lived in Nebraska and Lavoy, Wyo. Until 1927, when she moved with her family to Sagle.She graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1931.On June 18, 1932.Mary Lee married Harley Turnbull in Newport, Wash.She was a homemaker and active partner in the family farm south of Sagle.Mary Lee was a 4-H leader in the Junior Homemakers of Sagle for many years.She was also active in many community activities and was an avid supporter of the Sagle baseball programs.Mary Lee was a member of the First Christian Church in Sandpoint and a member of the Martha Chapter #34 of the Order of Eastern Star.Mary Lee enjoyed sewing and fishing.
Mary Lee is survived by, two sons, Richard Turnbull of Anchorage, Alaska and Lester Turnbull of Bigfork, Mont. one daughter, Judy Collett of Bend, Ore., four grandshilcren, Michael Turnbull of Sandpoint, Teresa Espinoza, of Andrews AFB, Maryland,, Lisa Collett of Moscow, Idaho and Brent Collett of Moscow, Idaho.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley, in 1986, her parents, two brothers; Ross and Dan; one sister, Carol Cornett and grandson, Steve.
Memorials may be made to the Shriner’s Children’sHospital in Spokane, Wash.
