Joseph Tremble’s grave is behind the “Brick Meeting House”. It is located on Maryland highway 273 between Rising Sun and Calvert. The “Brick Meeting House” is about 100 yards from the intersection of highway 273 and 272. Stone says: Joseph Tremble, son of William & Mary of Ireland settled in East Nottingham in 1741 and died 1787 aged 76 years4 |
