Vivian Turnbull received the Turnbull Clan Scholarship to continue her academic studies. Vivian is from San Pedro, California. She is a second-year student, where is pursuing a double major in rhetoric and public address and politics at Hillsdale College, Michigan. Vivian says “A college education made possible by scholarships like this one will allow me to give back to my community. By learning about public policy and our economy, I will be able to understand the factors surrounding issues like homelessness which are so prevalent in my community... I will be a servant of the people and an advocate for those who can’t speak up for themselves... And in the meantime, I’ll keep telling the story of good ‘ole William of Rule.”
