Helen Brogden Turnbull was the sister of Jack and Doug and was the youngest member of the women's American lacrosse team that competed in international play during the 1930's. She with her brothers earned All America honors while a student at Goucher College, Baltimore. Upon her graduation from college, she became a social worker and then a traveling ambassador for the Episcopal Church, USA, with posts throughout New England (where she recruited and nurtured college students), Geneva (Switzerland) for a posting with the World Conference of Churches, and then in New York City, with duties at The General Seminary and then the Union Seminary. Helen never married.
